Electromechanical works

Electromechanical systems are the working heart of a modern building. They provide power, lighting, cooling, ventilation, water and drainage, and they support safety and security. The electromechanical works service from VARIO (Al-Mukhtalef) delivers these systems through integrated engineering solutions that ensure operating efficiency and quality of execution to high standards.

Integrated Electrical and Mechanical Solutions

Electromechanical works bring together several systems that must be coordinated with each other and with the building structure and finishes.

• Electrical power distribution, panels, cabling and lighting.
• Air conditioning and ventilation systems.
• Plumbing, water supply and drainage.
• Fire fighting and fire alarm systems.
• Low-current systems such as data, communications and security, where included in scope.

Coordination between these systems, and with architectural and structural elements, avoids clashes and ensures that equipment can be installed and maintained properly.

Execution to Approved Standards and Specifications

Installations follow approved drawings, specifications and applicable codes. Materials and equipment are submitted for approval, checked on delivery and installed according to manufacturers' requirements. Inspections at key stages, such as before closing walls and ceilings, confirm that concealed work is correct.

Testing, Commissioning and Efficiency

Before handover, systems are tested and commissioned to confirm that they perform as designed. Electrical tests, pressure tests for piping, balancing of air and water systems and functional tests of controls and safety systems are documented. Well-commissioned systems operate more efficiently, consume less energy and are more reliable over time.

Handover includes as-built drawings, operation and maintenance manuals and training for the operating team.

Why VARIO

VARIO (Al-Mukhtalef) combines MEP design knowledge with execution and supervision experience. This allows our teams to understand the intent behind each system, resolve technical issues on site and deliver advanced systems that support the sustainability and operational performance of projects.
